How to Change whatsapp number without losing messages
If you want to change your whatsapp number you may do same way that most users do to change your number you uninstall and reinstall whatsapp with the new number. But you know that by doing this all previous messages will be lost.
If you changed your phone number and kept your same phone, you can change your number within WhatsAapp.
Note: Make sure that your new number is activated on your phone and that you can receive SMS messages and phone call's.
Just follow the steps below
Change whatsapp number
1. Go to WhatsApp
2. Tap Menu Button then tap Setting.
3. Now setting menu will appear tap Account and then tap Change Number.
4. Now Enter your current WhatsApp phone number in the top box.
5. Enter your new phone number in the lower box.
6. Tap Done to continue.
After successfully verifying your new number, your old number will be deleted from WhatsApp and your account information will be migrated to your new number.
